So, remember when Lady Gaga opened the 2011 VMAs as her alter ego/manself Jo Calderone? And she looked kind of oddly hot—like a potty-mouthed, broken, soul-searching, young boy on the quest for self discovery? Yeah, well, she/he kind of reminded us of someone ELSE who was a little rough around the edges in her rolled up Uniqlo white tee and baggy Brooks Brothers pants—The Karate Kid. And no, we're not talking about the re-make here, people. We're talking about the rough-n-tumble ORIGINAL Ralph Macchio Karate Kid shining in all his 1984 glory. He's got the printed bandana, same relaxed rolled-up sleeves white shirt, and high-waisted baggy pants as Gaga. Plus, that SAME shaggy black 'do and chillax attitude is just TOO MUCH for us. They're the same. We're convinced.
